Objective

Distinctive name and identity for world-class boutique spa without ordinary category conventions.

Solution

"Selah" — ancient Hebrew from Psalms meaning pause, rest, lift up. Minimal, no over-the-top adornment. Soft cool grays, violets, indigos, blues, earth tones.

Special Features

Back-lit cypress entrance sign from Pacific Northwest, carbon-dated to 182 B.C. Individually carved white oak letters. 16 fern photographs by Kim Hubbard.
